About ICCEL

Hosted by Wake Forest University, ICCEL was founded on the belief that learning principles such as collaboration and interaction can be supported and enhanced by the appropriate use of technology. In order for this to happen, colleges, universities and K-12 schools must develop sound technological infrastructures and strong support programs as well as help faculty understand how and why technology can be helpful in their courses. The Center sponsored a number of programs to help educational institutions successfully address these issues. It also provided custom briefing and consulting services on both technological and pedagogical issues associated with educational technologies. ICCEL built on Wake Forest University's extensive experience with technology and added the expertise of other leaders from around the world. ICCEL worked with IBM and other corporations to expand the scope of our offerings to our clients.
